Meet The Hosts

Photos and biographies of G4 hosts (downloaded from the old G4TV.com).

Patrick Clark is an Emmy Award- and Telly Award-winning host on the G4techTV Cable Network and a reporter for WB11, KPLR-TV in St. Louis. He's been featured on the ABC Family Channel and All News Channel and served as a correspondent for Cartoon Network. He began his career in radio working at the "The Imagination Station", a children's radio station in St. Louis. He became a television reporter in 1994 at KDNL-TV ABC 30 before joining KPLR-TV WB11 in 1996.

A sports lover, he spends his spare time composing new music and riding his mountain bike in and around Los Angeles. Patrick began playing piano at the age of six and later took up the alto sax in junior high. He recently released his second CD entitled "American Maid". Among the featured songs on the disc include the title track "American Maid" and the popular WB theme "The Night is Young," which was used in St. Louis, MO, Dayton, OH, and Knoxville, TN.

Lee Reherman was an average, everyday student in B-school, looking forward to both his MBA and a PhD in economics, when some of his classmates dared the former football player (Cornell, Miami Dolphins) to audition for American Gladiators. His character, The Hawk, appeared on American Gladiators, Gladiators 2000 and International Gladiators. Lee has also appeared on TV programs such as the X-Files, Angel, Caroline in the City, The Net and Solider of Fortune. Before joining the Arena team, Lee hosted USA's Cannonball Run 2001, E!'s FYE, The NFL's syndicated preview show Fantasy Football Weekly, UPN's I Dare You-The Ultimate Challenge and TNN's Roller Jam. Lee was also part of the XFL's broadcast team.

Laura Foy began her TV career in New York, where she co-hosted an online show called "Lilith and Eve" on the All Games Network. She also directed a daily, live, one-hour talk show about games called "GameTime."

Her passion for gaming started well before that though; as a young girl Laura could always be found with controller in hand, ready to take on all challengers-and not much has changed since.

At G4TV, Laura is the Associate Producer of G4tv.com, the network's only interactive talk show. As the "voice" of the people, she can be found in the G4TV chat room, where she gathers viewers' comments and opinions for the show.

As host of G4TV's video game countdown show "Filter," Diane Mizota will guide viewers down their own top 10 lists that cover every element of gaming. Mizota's other hosting credits include "The Back Row," Pax-TV's "Forbidden Secrets," "Microbe Man" and "GM Onstar." Other credits include television roles in "King of Queens," "Passions," "MTV Undressed," "Get Real," "Ally McBeal," ABC's "Cinderella," "The Drew Carey Show," "Fame L.A." and film roles in Miramax's "A View From the Top" and "Impostor."

As the biggest cheat on TV, host Cory Rouse will help gamers solve that tough puzzle or find that hidden level with tips and tricks on "Cheat! Pringles Gamers Guide" His other experience includes reporting and hosting for the "Tour of E3" on TechTV, the "TV Guide Channel Trivia Challenge," "The Big Moment," "Nickelodeon's Big Help," "Nickelodeon's Game Lab," "Totally Nickelodeon" and the "USO Talent Show." A seasoned improv comedian, he has also performed on the "15th Annual American Comedy Awards," "Wayne Brady & Friends," "The Aspen Comedy Festival," "The Houseful of Honkeys" and "Comedy Sportz."

Jim Downs is the producer and anchor of "Pulse," and he also produces "Arena." Downs began his career in entertainment in 1996. Starting as a production assistant on various film and television projects, Downs worked his way up through the ranks. After a short time in Los Angeles as a story board artist, he relocated to New York City in 1997 and began working for Internet television company Pseudo Programs, where he produced and hosted programming about computer and video games. Downs quickly became an executive producer, responsible for over nine hours a week of live and pre-produced video game-related content. In 2000 he relocated back to Los Angeles to begin working for G4TV.

Fueled by a fascination with larger-than-life heroes, Dave Meinstein's career has always been a reflection of his personal interests - from his summer internships at Marvel Comics to his current job as writer/producer/host of "Portal." Previously, Meinstein was a writer/producer at E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California's famed School of Cinema-Television.

Kevin Pereira started his first 2 node 14.4 "all gaming" bulletin board system at the ripe old age of seven, and has remained closely connected to the gaming scene ever since. At the age of fourteen he launched a gaming, music and internet-culture related internet radio show, which brought in an excess of 600,000 unique hits and streamed out over 30 gigs of RealAudio goodness weekly.

"Pointless Audio" eventually evolved into "Pointless TV" when Kevin "Captain Immy" Pereira began creating short films for his high school video productions class. One of Kevin's projects, featured on his gaming-related comedy site "lickmysweaty.com", earned three California Media Festival awards and helped him obtain a full grant to the Academy of Arts College in San Francisco where he studied film and television production for a whole three-and-a-half months. It was then, after working at an ISP as a network administrator for five years and at a county-wide government television network, that he decided to pursue a career at G4TV Television.

Pereira is also the "coolest and greatest gamer ever", and smells like salt. Seriously.
